Discerning Truth in a Polluted Age

How this prophetic word relates to recent headlines

This prophetic word speaks powerfully into a world that, in the last six months, has been rocked by moral confusion and spiritual counterfeits. In recent headlines, we’ve seen intense debates over changing cultural norms—like the surge in gender debates and the redefinition of family structures—where what was once considered right is now seen as wrong and vice versa. The prophetic word’s insistence on “the Spirit of Truth” resonates directly with the need for believers to discern in a world where truth is relative and ever-changing.

Moreover, the exposure of manipulative religious leaders who prey on people’s desperation—just like the mailing list schemes described—mirrors the recent scandal in which a well-known prosperity preacher was found to have used donations to fund luxury living. This prophetic word calls out such deception, reminding the Church that God sees beyond outward shows to the hidden motives of the heart.

The word also speaks of the coming Kingdom and the urgency of readiness—a clarion call echoed in headlines about global instability and conflicts. From the war in Ukraine to the Middle East tensions, believers are reminded that while these are signs of the times, they are also calls to lift up their heads, for redemption draws nigh.

Finally, in a world of technology and surveillance, the prophetic call to live with integrity “when nobody’s watching” is more relevant than ever. In an era of social media and viral opinions, the Spirit reminds us to stand firm and remain faithful, even if the whole world turns upside down. This is the hour to walk in the Spirit, not in the flesh, and be the light that shines until the King comes!

The Coming Kingdom and the Spirit’s Power

Hear the word of the Lord, O Church of the Living God! For the day is drawing nigh when the trumpet shall sound, and the Bride shall be caught away in splendor before the Great Tribulation. Let not your hearts be troubled by the voices of men who do not discern the hour! For did the Lord reveal these things to Luther or Calvin? Nay, because their day was not the day of departure. But you, beloved, stand on the edge of eternity, watching the sky for the King’s appearing.

Do not despise the vessels God has chosen! He fills the unqualified with His Spirit so that the world may marvel and say, “Surely this is the finger of God.” The natural man sees only flesh and cannot discern the things of the Spirit. But you have not received the spirit of the world; you have received the Spirit of God, that you may know the treasures freely given to you. Let not the weight of your own frailty hinder your witness. Moses too feared that he was unworthy to speak, but the Lord said, “What is in your hand?” Use what God has given you!

The body is but an instrument—glorious though it is—through which the real you, the spirit, communes with God and man. In this frail tabernacle, you bear witness to the power of the Risen One. And in this body, you shall shine with the glory of God, as David taught his people even in grief to prepare for battle and trust in the Lord.

The early disciples believed the Kingdom would come in their lifetime, asking, “Wilt thou at this time restore the kingdom?” So must you live, in joyful expectancy of the King’s return, knowing that this present world is not your home.

Let this word come to you as fire in your bones! For the world is polluted, and the mores of men are ever-changing, declaring evil to be good and good to be evil. The Spirit of Truth alone can teach you what is right in a world of shifting sands. O saints of God, pray for discernment, for many voices clamor for your attention—some even cloaked in the garb of righteousness yet filled with deception.

The Antichrist spirit is even now at work, speaking pompous words against the Most High, seeking to change the laws and times. Daniel saw it long ago; the Apostle John confirmed it in the visions of Revelation. But the Church shall be taken out before that final terror arises from the abyss.

Do not be deceived by those who sell the word of God as merchandise! The Lord sees beyond your works in the public square; He tests your heart in the secret place. What you do when no one sees reveals your true devotion. Be a people of integrity, worship in spirit and in truth, whether in the liturgy or in the overflow of the Spirit’s power.

God has raised up ministries to reach every soul: the quiet liturgical, the passionate experiential, the missions to the ends of the earth. Do not let your preconceived ideas limit the Holy One of Israel. For He will work in ways that astound you—through miracles, through the gifts of tongues, through the quiet witness of a life surrendered.

The Spirit is the One who reveals the mysteries of God, who takes your small faith and clothes it in power. Trust Him, for He is your Helper and your Guide. This is the hour to stand firm, to know the Spirit’s voice, and to shine in the darkness until the King comes to take His Bride home.
